Your print can be generated in two places. Where the author has professional printing capabilites, they will create your print. Where not, Pixtures will create your print. Many of our members are recognised in their profession, for example as members of the Royal Photographic Society and other respected industry bodies. When you buy from Pixtures you are buying the best quality images available.

Our photographic images are printed on the highest quality papers, from suppliers such as Fotospeed, Permajet, Epson, Ilford and others, using fade free, archival quality inks especially chosen to maximise the impact and life of the image. Some images better suit a particular paper so we need to ensure that we are able to choose the right paper for your purchase. Options include Glossy, Matt, Satin, Pearl & Lustre. By matching the image with a particular paper, we can help display the image in an optimal way. Of course, if you require a particular paper to match existing photo art you may already own, you can add a comment to your order or call us to discuss your needs.

With regards ink, again we choose to use inks from major manufactures including Fotospeed, Permajet, Epson, Canon and other manufacturers. The inks we use are chosen for their amazing colour gamet and long life. When combined with top quality paper, you can be assured that your print will last a lifetime.

This is a misunderstood concept as most modern cameras produce are capable of providing amazing definition when printed at wall size. This means that whatever size print you purchase, the quality will be superb. Factors that will affect image quality will be associated more with the style of the image rather than the print quality. To give you some idea of quality versus size, printing at greater than 200 dpi would result in no visable improvement in perceived image qualty between a print of 5 " x 7" and one of 16" x 20". Since most professional cameras, as used by our contributors, will create images of at least 20MP, an image printed at 200 dpi would have a maximum size of around 24" x 36" and a resolution of 5400x3600 pixels. In addition, because our images are printed in true Adobe RGB colour gamet, you can be assured of pin sharp quality, and amazing tones, both colour and monochrome, every time.

There are two options available to you. If you are local to Escape Artists in Torquay, you can call in and collect your print. Of course under these circumstances, there are no postal costs. Should you prefer that we send your print to you, this will be sent via Royal Mail. The exact service will depend on the size of your print. To safely send photographic prints via postal services, we will package your print in a sturdy cardboard tube.
