Since opening earlier this year, Escape Artist Studios (EAS) based in Union Street in Torquay has been busily hosting a number of local photographers as well as creating some quality portraiture in it's own right. Manager Dave Collerton has been keen to point out that EAS is not just a one-trick pony, it's a community hub suited to a wide range of purposes including photographic training e.g. editing software, lighting etc, photographic group meetings and review, groups, studio sessions, one-on-one training in lighting, modelling and much much more.
Priced from just £9/hr, this fully equipped venue is the perfect incubator for any photographer wanting to create their own brand whilst keeping within a tight budget. All too often, photographers believe that they can buck the trend and create a profitable studio only to find out that the reality is far from the dream. EAS solves this problem by enabling photographers to work together, with models and MAU's to share the cost and to create their own studio space.
